Graphic design for exhibition stands involves all the expected considerations, like the client's brand guidelines as well as business and design objectives. However, what makes it unique as a discipline is the physical and the environmental practicalities. Where is the start and end point of the stand? Will the key messages be seen through the number of visitors? How will lighting affect the wall graphics? Is the colour that I'm using consistent with the furniture? How many screens are there and what are they doing? Every design element must work in relation to the stand design as whole, other graphic elements, as well as the physical journey of the visitor.
There needs to be plenty of communication between all team members to ensure a successful outcome. It was an absolute joy to work closely with 2LK creating complete stand graphics, motion design, as well as digital applications for some of their top tier clients like Intel, HSBC, and Canon, amongst others.
